Second Generation Family Owned & Operated Floral Design Committed to Giving Back to the Local San Diego Community

Allen’s Flowers and Plants, San Diego’s premier flower shop and a top 100 florist in the USA for four years running, announces its unique online fundraising program called Helping Hands, which benefits local schools, non-profit organizations, and churches in La Mesa County in San Diego.  The Helping Hands program encourages customers to take advantage of our service when sending flowers across town or around the world.

Helping Hands was designed as a way for Allen’s Flowers to show their support for the local San Diego community throughout the year and get customers engaged in the giving process. With each flower order or plant order, a customer can choose to have Allen's Flowers make a donation to one of its participating organizations, including Solana Highlands Elementary School and Valhalla Foundation Cheer.

The easy-to-use online program can be accessed through the website by selecting the "Helping Hands" pull down menu option on the order form and then selecting an organization to receive your contribution.

Allen's Flowers Helping Hands program is also easy for an organization to implement and is free to join. The flower shop has identification cards that parents, families, and friends can pass out to let others know about the donation program. Orders are tracked and donation checks are sent directly to the treasurer at the beginning of every month. The organization has full control of these funds for charities, equipment, education or any specific need that is decided upon by its members. If your group or organization would like to participate, please enroll online with all your group's information and intention for contributions.
