Peter has been teaching guitar, bass guitar and ukulele professionally since graduating from Leeds College of Music with a BA (Hons) in Jazz in 2008.
Each lesson is tailored towards you to make sure you get what you want out of your one to one or group lesson; from strumming a few chords to taking grades or even performing professionally. Students who have chosen to take grades have a 100% pass rate, most achieving a merit or above. Peter also coaches students for GCSE and A level performances. As a teacher for Parmiter's School, a member of the South West Herts Consortium, Peter is particularly well placed to prepare students for 11+ music aptitude tests. Some students, especially adults, tend to prefer to learn songs without taking grades.
Lessons are planned in advance to ensure that there is shape and direction. Peter also offers support between lessons; creating resources and tutorials to ensure that students make as much progress and have as much fun as possible!
