Interactive SharePoint Dashboards

If you want to use a SharePoint dashboard, here is some information on how to do so:

1. Determine Which Data to Report

Creating a responsive and visually appealing dashboard is difficult. Perhaps you have a lot on your mind.

Take a moment to relax and think about what information you want to include in your interactive
SharePoint dashboards
Remember that you're not just making pretty graphics or putting together indication icons.

You must also distinguish between the data that represents your projections and your current condition. However, you are not required to do so alone. You have a team with which you can collaborate, so make time to discuss ideas with them. Also, remember to be objective.

2. Create Your Dashboard in Excel

After acquiring the necessary metrics, it is time to organize them in Microsoft Excel. You might start by sketching the information on a sheet of paper.

But it's not as simple as it seems. You may run out of ideas at times. That's fine; it's all part of the process.

You can get some ideas by searching the internet. There are innumerable examples available online, and narrowing them down might be difficult. You can analyze at minimum the top 5 of them.

No need to copy because you are merely looking for ideas. You must be yourself. Blend what you find on the internet with your thoughts. You can certainly come up with something great.

3. Import your MS Excel dashboard into the SharePoint page

You are most likely using SharePoint Online and want to make the most of your modern SharePoint experience.

Upload your Excel dashboard to a document library before inserting it into your selected page. Simply open the file and move the cursor to A1. Before pressing the X button, ensure that you have saved it.

Update the file permissions before publishing your dashboard. To keep the data safe, set it to ‘’read-only’’. Then you may design a page for your dashboard to display. You are ready to go if you already have an existing page.

You merely need to click the plus icon to add a new web section. That's all! Your SharePoint dashboard is ready.
