Take Class On The Orthodox Christian Religion At The St. Athanasius and St. Cyril Coptic Orthodox Theological School
Start your Orthodox Christian education when you apply to the St. Athanasius and St. Cyril Coptic Orthodox Theological School (ACTS) and register for classes. At ACTS we seek to provide participants with a sound Orthodox Christian Education. We believe in inviting all to partake in the fullness of faith. Register for classes offered both on-campus and online at ACTS. Find the exposure to Christian Orthodox religion and theology that you seek at ACTS. Students of ACTS seek to gain a Certificate of Orthodox Christian Theological Studies (C.T.S) or a Masters of Divinity (M.Div.), but you can also take classes to simply learn more about religion and theology.
Sign up for classes such as our “Introduction to Orthodox Christianity” course, which starts with an understanding of Truth, the source of our teaching, the practice of Orthodox teachings in worship, how we read scripture, and how its effects of Orthodox teaching in lives. In addition we discuss sensitive topics that trouble the Christian world. In our “Introduction to Orthodox Spirituality” class we cover the spiritual tradition of Orthodox Christianity, as well as the various dimensions of spirituality in Scriptures, Church Fathers, Desert Fathers, and modern spiritual writers. In “Introduction to Orthodox Spirituality” we explore the interrelationship of theological and spiritual concepts in the present day world.
