At the St. Athanasius and St. Cyril Coptic Orthodox Theological School we prepare students to become Christian leaders who are spiritually mature, biblically and theologically responsible, professionally competent, intellectually astute, deeply committed to sharing the truth of our Lord Jesus Christ. We offer an array of courses, online and on-campus, on of the different aspects of the Christian Orthodox Religion.
At the St. Athanasius and St. Cyril Coptic Orthodox Theological School we offer a Masters of Divinity program designed to prepare qualified students for priestly ordination. This 72 unit graduate program prepares servants to serve in other forms of church service, including Sunday school, youth ministry, mission, evangelism, and hospital chaplaincy. Our Master of Divinity can be completed in as little as three years when students register for 12 units a semester in the spring, summer, and fall semesters. The Masters of Divinity can also be spread over a longer period of time is necessary.
If you are not seeking to become an ordained priest, but simply seek a greater exposure to the Coptic Christian Orthodox Religion, then you have the opportunity to gain a Certificate of Theological Studies from the St. Athanasius and St. Cyril Coptic Orthodox Theological School. This certificate program offers a general introduction to religious and theological teachings, ideal for lay persons, prospective students, or those simply seeking more knowledge.
