ACTS aspires to be the premier center of Orthodox Christian scholarship, pastoral education, Orthodox ministry and mission within the nation and throughout the world.
Our 72-unity, three-year-long Masters of Divinity degree program is mainly, but not exclusively, designed to prepare qualified Orthodox students for ordination to the priestly ministry in the Orthodox Church. Master’s students take classes on various topics including Orthodox spirituality and Coptic Language. But we also prepares students to serve in other forms of church service, including Sunday School, Youth Ministry, Mission and Evangelism, and Hospital Chaplaincy. Our students can register for classes offered both online and at our campus.
Located in Claremont, California the St. Athanasius and St. Cyril Coptic Orthodox Theological School is located just outside of LA. So you can responsibly enjoy the Los Angeles city life while studying Orthodox religion and theology.
