We offer Christian Orthodox Classes online and at our Claremont, California campus in the spring, summer and fall semesters that apply to our certificate program. The Certificate of Orthodox Theological Studies is designed to provide a general introduction to Orthodox theology and religion through the introductory graduate level study of Scripture Church History, Dogmatism, Patristics and Canon law. This two-year program is ideal for prospective students, lay persons, or any other interested individuals that wish to receive a broad exposure to religious and theological studies.
Our Certificate of Orthodox Theological Studies is unique is the sense that it is a first degree in theology, from which a student could advance to a Masters of Divinity degree or PhD degree in theology.
While the certificate program is currently uncredited, the St. Athanasius and St. Cyril Coptic Orthodox Theological School is seeking to gain accreditation.
