Earn Your Orthodox Masters of Divinity When You Apply To The St. Athanasius and St. Cyril Coptic Orthodox Theological School
Orthodox Students who seek to become ordained priests or Christian Leaders in their community apply to the St. Athanasius and St. Cyril Coptic Orthodox Theological School for their Orthodox Masters’ of Divinity. Through the Grace of God, the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and the blessing of the saints, the Theological School aspires to be the premier center of Orthodox Christian scholarship, pastoral education, Orthodox ministry and mission.
We provide our students with a sound Orthodox education. We seek to nurture the knowledge of our students to become Christian leaders who are spiritually mature, biblically and theologically responsible, professionally competent, intellectually astute, deeply committed to sharing the truth of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Our thee-year Masters’ of Divinity programs is a 72-unit is graduate professional degree chiefly (but not exclusively) designed to prepare qualified Orthodox students for ordination to the priestly ministry in the Orthodox Church. Our students take classes online and at our Claremont, California campus in different topics on Orthodox religion and theology. The Masters’ program at the St. Athanasius and St. Cyril Coptic Orthodox Theological School also prepares students for other forms of church service, including Sunday School, Youth Ministry, Mission and Evangelism, and Hospital Chaplaincy.
We provide a range of course styles to accommodate the business schedule of our Orthodox Students.
