Alaska's Aleutian Islands will be slammed by a storm even more intense that Superstorm Sandy over the weekend. Typhoon Nuri is expected to batter the sparsely populated islands late Friday or early Saturday with hurricane force winds and 50 foot waves. It will then push frigid air across most of the country.
