Celebrate Hope, at Hope By The Sea, A Southern California Addiction Recovery Center, Welcomes Robin Lovell As Program Director

The senior executive staff of Hope By The Sea announced this past week that Robin K. Lovell is the new Program Director overseeing their comprehensive alcohol and drug treatment programs, including Celebrate Hope – the faith based Christian drug and alcohol rehabilitation program component.

Ms. Lovell brings a wealth of experience having been a program director of an outpatient facility with multiple locations, as well as working in an inpatient setting. Since 2006 she has dedicated her efforts to individuals and families whose lives are impacted by addiction. Certified by the California Association of Alcohol and Drug Educators, Ms. Lovell offers, “I feel as though my previous positions were the perfect training opportunities to grow and flourish with Hope By The Sea.”

When asked what she considers her greatest challenge in stepping into the Program Director position, Ms. Lovell is quick to elaborate:  “In taking this new position my biggest concern or challenge was transitioning from working in outpatient court ordered treatment to inpatient voluntary commitment. Many new challenges arise when you remove a person from their environment and transplant them into something unfamiliar. When our therapists and counselors begin working on unresolved grief or past trauma; often times behavioral problems can be the most troublesome. I have made it a personal priority to try to ensure the safety and comfort of our clients both at the center and at their respective homes.”

Celebrate Hope at Hope By The Sea offers a team of recovery experts committed to care and counsel each patient tailoring their treatment plan with a 12-Step Alcoholics Anonymous / Narcotics Anonymous program dovetailed with Christian recovery modalities. Ms. Lovell reaffirms this goal: “It is my opinion that the most important thing we can do for our clients is to act as the conduit to recovery and provide them a safe place to grow. Pastor Dale and many of the staff here at Hope By The Sea have been blessed with their own opportunities to experience God's Grace. In turn they have developed a style of working with clients that provides them with that safe place.”
