John McCain will give his presidential acceptance speech Friday during the last day of the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, MN.
On Thursday, McCain's VP, Sarah Palin, gave a resounding speech in which she slammed Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama for his rhetoric and lack of experience. Palin's speech was the most anticipated speech of the RNC.
Palin lauded McCain for his patriotism, service and commitment to the American people during his terms in the House of Representatives and Senate.
Former Republican presidential candidate and former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani also gave a speech Thursday, giving his support for Palin and McCain.
McCain's speech will come exactly a week after Obama's highly-anticipated and historic speech at the Democratic National Convention in Denver. McCain will look to ride the momentum from Palin's speech and will make history as well, becoming the oldest candidate running for his first term of president.
