The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-1) intercepted Marc Bulger three times limited the St. Louis Rams (0-3) to just 245 yards of total offense in their 24-3 victory on Sunday. Earnest Graham rushed for 75 yards and a pair of touchdowns while Jeff Garcia finished 14 of 22 for 151 yards.
Peyton Manning threw for 273 yards and a touchdown while Joseph Addai added 72 yards rushing and two touchdowns as the Indianapolis Colts (3-0) beat the Houston Texans (2-1) 30-24. The Colts defense limited the Texans to just 40 yards rushing while picking Matt Schaub off twice in the win.
Matt Stover kicked a 46-yard field goal as time expired to give the Baltimore Ravens (2-1) a 26-23 victory over the Arizona Cardinals (1-2). Kurt Warner replaced a largely ineffective Matt Leinart and nearly brought the Cardinals back with 258 yards passing and two touchdowns.
The Jacksonville Jaguars (2-1) forced three turnovers and held the Denver Broncos (2-1) to just 47 yards in their 23-14 victory. The Jaguars totaled 186 yards on the ground to dominate the time of possession, holding a 17 minute advantage over the Broncos. David Garrard was an efficient 14 of 20 for 154 yards passing.
Phil Dawson kicked what appeared to be a 40-yard game winner but a time out prior to the attempt nullified the three point sand when Dawson lined up for a second time the Oakland Raiders (1-2) blocked Dawson’s attempt to beat the Cleveland Browns (1-2) 26-24. Lamont
Jake Delhomme threw for 109 yards and two touchdowns while DeShaun Foster rushed for 122 yards and a touchdown as the Carolina Panthers (1-2) beat the Atlanta Falcons (1-2) 27-20. Joey Harrington had a big game in the loss throwing for 361 yards and two touchdowns.
Matt Hasselbeck hit Nate Burleson on a 22-yard touchdown pass with one minute left in the game and the Seattle Seahawks (2-1) beat the Cincinnati Bengals (1-2) 24-21 on Sunday. Shaun Alexander finished the game with 100 yards rushing while the Seahawks forced four turnovers from the Bengals.
A last minute goal line stand gave the New York Giants (1-2) a 24-17 victory over the Washington Redskins (2-1). The Giants trailed 17-3 at halftime but Eli Manning capped the comeback with a 33-yard touchdown pass to Plaxico Burress with 5:32 left in the game.
Tony Romo threw for 329 yards and two touchdowns while Terrell Owens had 145 yards receiving as the Dallas Cowboys (3-0) beat the Chicago Bears (1-2) 34-10 on Sunday night. Marion Barber III rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown while the Cowboys defense picked off Bears quarterback three times in the game.
