Saints' Deuce McAllister Out For Season with ACL Tear
New Orleans Saints running Deuce McAllister is out for the season after tearing his ACL in his left knee in last night's 31-14 loss to the Tennessee Titans on Monday Night Football.
An MRI is scheduled for Tuesday to confirm that diagnosis. Officially, the Saints say only that McAllister has a left knee injury and will have an MRI.
McAllister limped off after catching a 1-yard pass and going down awkwardly with about eight minutes left in the half. He was checked out on the sideline, then headed off for further treatment. He didn't return to the game.
McAllister only had five yards in the game last night.
The Saints are 0-3. Running back Reggie Bush will be forced to carry most of the load on the ground now.
