Louisville Cardinals linebacker Willie Williams was dismissed from the school’s football team on Wednesday following his arrest for possession of marijuana, felony tampering with physical evidence and driving without a license.

On Wednesday Williams ensured that he would be moving again after police attempted to pull him over. Rather than adhere to the police request Williams continued driving for several blocks. When Williams finally stopped police found the him chewing on marijuana. Police ordered him to spit the substance out and found more of the drug in his glove compartment.
Police then arrested the football player and charged him with possession and driving without a license, both misdemeanors as well as a felony tampering with evidence charge that could carry up to five years in prison.
