Sam Bradford hardly looked like a freshman on Saturday as the quarterback threw for 244 yards and three touchdowns to lead the #10 Oklahoma Sooners past the #19 Texas Longhorns 28-21 in a Big 12 battle.
While
Texas then pinned the Sooners on their own six-yard line on the ensuing kickoff but Bradford showed no signs of being rattled as he led the offense down the field and on the 12th play of the drive hit Malcolm Kelly on a 35 yard touchdown strike for a 28-21 lead.
It was the Longhorns who looked rattled as their offense ran into a determined Sooners defense that wouldn’t give up any yards.
The win improved the Oklahoma Sooners record to 5-1 and 1-1 in the Big 12 while
