The win improved the Redskins to 3-1 on the year while the Lions fell to 3-2 after suffering their second consecutive loss.

Carlos Rodgers capped the scoring for the Redskins when he took a Kitna interception back 61-yards for a touchdown with 45 seconds left in the game.
Both teams struggled to hold on to the ball as Kitna was picked off twice but the Lions fumbled four times but recovered each one.
