Kris Draper scored on a tip-in late in the second period to give the Detroit Red Wings (3-0-1) a goal advantage and Mikael Samuelsson added the finishing touches with a power-play goal in the third to beat the Calgary Flames (0-2-1) 4-2 on Wednesday night.
Tomas Holmstrom gave the Red Wings a brief 2-1 lead at the 3:01 mark in the second but Huselius scored his second goal of the game for the Flames and the score was knotted again.
Mikael Samuelsson then put the night in the books with a power-play goal at 15:36 of the third period to keep the Red Wings unbeaten.
