Kobe Bryant Trade Still a Possibility Says Lakers Owner Jerry Buss
Kobe Bryant may just get his wish to play in another uniform if Lakers owner Jerry Buss has his way. After having to listen to Bryant make trade demands and belittle the talent around him it seems Buss would be willing to let the opinionated guard go if the right opportunity presented itself.
Talking to reporters on Wednesday Buss said that he would entertain offers for the 29-year-old, as long as they were “within reason.” Buss was quoted as saying “I would certainly listen. At any time, I think you have to do that with anybody. It's just part of the game, to listen to somebody who has a dissatisfied player that you think is going to fit. You can't keep too many loyalties. You've got to look at it as a business. He looks at it the same way I look at it.”
Buss revealed that he had spoken with Bryant in the offseason about the possibility of a trade and even shared with Bryant offers made by other clubs. None of the offers seemed to make sense to Buss who said, “What was offered was not ever under consideration. And I told
