Dusty Baker Named New Manager of Cincinnati Reds
Dusty Baker will return to the dugout in 2008 after inking a three-year deal to become the new manger of the Cincinnati Reds.
After being fired by the Chicago Cubs following the 2006 season Baker worked as an analyst for ESPN in 2007. The 58-year-old will now replace Pete Mackanin who had taken the position on an interim basis after Jerry Narron was fired in July.
The Reds finished 72-90 on the year, 13 games behind the Chicago Cubs in the NL Central.
