NFL Week 6 Scores: McNabb Leads Philadelphia Eagles Past Hapless New York Jets
Donovan McNabb threw for 278 yards and a touchdown while Brian Westbrook collected 120 yards on the ground as the Philadelphia Eagles beat the New York Jets 16-9 on Sunday.
With the win the Eagles improved to 2-3 on the year while the Jets dropped to a woeful 1-5.
The Eagles piled up 413 yards of offense but could manage just one touchdown as David Ackers accounted for the majority of their points with three field goals in the game. As ineffective as the Eagles were at putting the ball in the endzone the Jets were worse as they could manage just three field goals from Mike Nugent.
Thomas Jones had a sensational game for the Jets as he picked up 130 yards on the ground in the loss.
