NFL Week 6 Scores: LaDainian Tomlinson Back on Track as San Diego Chargers Drop Oakland Raiders
LaDainian Tomlinson rushed for 198 yards and four touchdowns to lead the San Diego Chargers past the Oakland Raiders 28-14 on Sunday.
Tomlinson accounted for more than half of the 362 yards of offense totaled by the Chargers and nearly eclipsed the 248 yards of offense that the Raiders accumulated in the game.
San Diego’s two first quarter touchdowns came on LT runs of 3 and 27 yards as the Chargers built a 14-0 lead.
Tomlinson re-established the 14-point advantage in the third quarter with a 13-yard touchdown run. That lead held up until Daunte Culpepper connected with Zach Miller on a 1-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter but Tomlinson sealed the game with a 41-yard touchdown scamper with 2:43 left in the game.
