Kobe Bryant Misses Third Straight Practice, Questionable for Thursday Night Game
Kobe Bryant missed his third straight practice on Tuesday and is questionable for the Los Angeles Lakers’ Thursday night game against the Seattle SuperSonics, sparking more speculation that the superstar’s time in
Rumors that he had cleaned out his locker were denied by Bryant but when questioned about whether he had played his final game in a Lakers jersey the 29-year-old guard said “I don't know, talk to Mitch (Kupchak) and Mr. (Jerry) Buss about that.”
While nobody has said Bryant will be traded, Buss hinted that he “would certainly listen” to reasonable offers. The owner’s comments came just last week while he was in
Bryant tried to back down from his comments later and even said he wanted to return to the Lakers but not many people believe the scoring leader from a year ago wants to be wearing the purple and gold.
There are still four years left on Bryant’s contract, worth $88.6 million, but he could opt out of the deal in two years and leave LA with nothing.
