Tom Brady threw a career-high six touchdown passes while totaling 354 yards through the air while Randy Moss had 122 yards and two touchdowns on four receptions as the New England Patriots (7-0) rolled past the hapless Miami Dolphins (0-7) 49-28.
Brady tossed five touchdowns in the first half alone as the Patriots were up 42-7 after two quarters.
The Patriots jumped to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter as Brady connected with Donte’ Stallworth on a 30-yard touchdown pass and followed that with a 2-yard dump to Kyle Brady.
Miami cut their deficit in half when quarterback Cleo Lemon scored from four yards out on a keeper but the Dolphins had little time to celebrate as Willie Andrews took the ensuing kickoff back 77-yards for a touchdown and the Patriots were up 21-7.
