College Football Scores: #19 Texas Longhorns Overcome Second Half Deficit to Beat Nebraska Cornhuskers
Jamaal Charles rushed for 290 yards and three touchdowns and Quan Crosby had 113 yards receiving as the #19 Texas Longhorns overcame a 14-point third quarter deficit to beat the Nebraska Cornhuskers 28-25 on Saturday.
It was the Longhorns who got on the board first with a 38-yard field goal from Ryan Bailey in the first quarter but a Cornhuskers field goal and a pair of touchdown passes from Sam Keller to Nate Swift put
Bailey kicked his second field goal of the game to bring the Longhorns to within 11 and then hit a 49-yarder at the close of the third to cut the deficit to 17-9 heading into the final frame.
That’s when Charles took over as he busted touchdown runs of 25, 86 and 40 yards to give
