Tom Brady and Peyton Manning both set an NFL record Sunday by becoming the first quarterbacks to defeat all 31 NFL teams.
Manning accomplished the feat first as his game was at 1pm EST. The Indianapolis Colts beat the Carolina Panthers, 31-7. Manning threw 14-of -30 for 254 yards and two touchdowns, breaking Johnny Unitas' franchise record for career touchdowns also.
Brady waited until 4pm as the New England Patriots destroyed the Washington Redskins, 52-7. Brady completed 29-for-38 passes for 306 yards and three touchdowns. He has already set a career-high with 30 touchdowns just halfway through the season. Brady is on pace to get 60 touchdowns for the season, eclipsing Manning's 49 touchdown mark set in 2004. He also extended his NFL record to eight games at the start of a season with at least three touchdown passes.
Ironically, Manning and Brady are both undefeated (7-0 and 8-0, respectively) and square off Sunday in Indianapolis.
