Women’s College Basketball Coaches Poll Top 25 Week 1: Tennessee Lady Vols Top the List Heading into 2007 Season
Coming off their national championship season Pat Summitt has her Lady Vols in a familiar position as the ESPN/USA Today Coaches Poll has her
The Vols finished 34-3 last year and have many expecting an eight national title in 2007-08.
The UConn Huskies collected a few first-place votes but settled in at #2 in the Week 1 ESPN/Coaches Poll. For many of the returning Huskies they would like nothing more than to get the season started as they’ve had an entire summer to think about the 23 point loss they suffered to LSU in last year’s Elite Eight match-up.
After a somewhat surprising run to the championship game last year the Rutgers Scarlet Knights earned the #3 ranking from coaches.
