NBA Playoffs Schedule Saturday, April 24: Dwight Howard Leads Orlando Magic into Charlotte, Kevin Durant Looks to Even Thunder with Kobe Bryant’s Lakers
The NBA playoffs have four games on the slate for Saturday with the balance of each series on the line as all four teams leading the series could move to within a win of a second round berth.
Dwight Howard will get things started as the Orlando Magic carry their 2-0 series lead into Charlotte to take on the Bobcats. Howard has been an unstoppable force on the defensive end while the Magic offense has been balanced and too much for the Bobcats.
After the Portland Trail Blazers stunned the Phoenix Suns in Game 1 things have returned to what was expected as Amare Stoudemire and Steve Nash have bounced back and they now hold a 2-1 lead against the undermanned Blazers. The Suns blasted the Blazers in Portland and would love to get one more before heading back to Phoenix.
Two games into the series and the Atlanta Hawks look like a sure bet to get into the second round as they have just dominated the Milwaukee Bucks. Milwaukee entered the playoffs without their big man Andrew Bogut and Atlanta has taken advantage, crushing the Bucks down low and using their athleticism to wear their overmatched opponent down.
All eyes will be on Oklahoma City Saturday night as Kevin Durant and the Thunder look to repeat their performance from Game 3 as they face Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 4. The Thunder held on to win their first playoff game in OKC history and would love nothing more than toeven the series before heading back to LA.
