NBA Playoffs Schedule Wednesday, April 28: Carmelo Anthony and Denver Nuggets Face Must-Win Against Utah Jazz, Atlanta Hawks and Milwaukee Bucks Fight for Series Edge
The first round of the NBA playoffs is nearing an end and for the Denver Nuggets their hopes for an NBA title could end tonight as they host the Utah Jazz. While the Nuggets fight to stay alive the Atlanta Hawks and Milwaukee Bucks will be fighting for a series advantage as they are knotted at 2-2 in their best-of-seven series.
Carmelo Anthony and the Denver Nuggets started their series with the Utah Jazz in impressive fashion with a 126-113 victory but from that point on its been a struggle as they have dropped three straight and have had no real answer for Deron Williams and Carlos Boozer. Denver will be hosting Utah in Game 5 tonight and it will take more than a big game from Carmelo to force a Game 6.
The Atlanta Hawks continue to live up to their Jekyll and Hyde personality as they proved once again that they are a brutal road team. After taking apart the Milwaukee Bucks in the first two games of their playoff series the Hawks dropped a pair on the road and now the series is even at 2-2. Atlanta does play solid at home and if they can go back to what worked in those first two games, pounding the ball down low, they should get the win but a loss could be the end of the series as Milwaukee could close it out in Game 6.
