NBA Playoffs Schedule Friday May 7: LeBron James Facing Renewed Pressure as Cavs Meet Celtics in Boston, Suns Shooting for 3-0 Advantage Against Spurs
The NBA Playoffs schedule for Friday includes a pair of games with a lot on the line for all four teams playing. After a dominant regular season LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers are facing a real battle as they head to Boston to face the Celtics in Game 3. The same pressure will be on the San Antonio as they host the Phoenix Suns in what has to be considered a must win for Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, Tony Parker and the rest of the Spurs.
Everybody has been focusing on the injured elbow of LeBron James as the Cavaliers head into Boston on Friday night. While LeBron has tried to shrug off the attention the truth is the Cavs need to find a second offensive weapon to take the pressure of the league’s MVP. Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen and Rajon Rondo all smell blood in the water and they will look to take a 2-1 series lead tonight and take control of the best-of-seven series.
Steve Nash and Amare Stoudemire have the Phoenix Suns on solid ground with a 2-0 series lead against the San Antonio Spurs. Despite the hole the Spurs don’t appear too nervous as they have a group of veterans with plenty of experience in facing adversity and overcoming it. Duncan, Ginobili and Parker all have the ability to get the Spurs in the win column but they can’t afford to lt the Suns hang around on Friday or the series could be over.
