Dallas Braden Tosses 19th Perfect Game in MLB History as Oakland A’s Blank Tampa Bay Rays
Dallas Braden became just eh 19th pitcher in Major League Baseball history to toss a perfect game, setting down 27 straight Tampa Bay Rays hitters in Oakland’s 4-0 victory on Sunday.
Braden managed to get Gabe Kapler to ground out to short for the final out, becoming the first pitcher to throw a perfect game since Mark Buehrle of the Chicago White Sox pulled off the same feat last year.
Braden becomes the second pitcher to toss a no-hitter this year as the Colorado Rockies Ubaldo Jimenez blanked the Atlanta Braves last month.
