Brett Favre whose career has span 19 NFL seasons the future Hall a Famer is supposedly calling it quits yet again.
After an illustrious career in Green Bay a stint with the New York Jets and what could be his final season with the Minnesota Vikings Favre is done.
According to reports the Vikings have been informed that Favre is not returning. Should we trust Favre this time?
League sources have told ESPN NFL according to their website that Favre has sent text message to teammates saying “This is it.”
According to both Favre and the Vikings neither has confirmed the allegations but it is reported that a statement is expected later Tuesday.
Favre who is now 40 years old has had recent surgery on his ankle and reports are that the rehabilitation is not going as well as Favre hoped. These reports were told by a source to The Associated Press.
Time will tell whether Favre stays off the sidelines in the coming months. We have all see Brett Favre change his mind. Who knows maybe he wants to play for Al Davis and the Raiders or the Miami Heat offered him the league minimum and he is going to run the point for the Miami Heat.
