College Football Kicks Off Thursday Night as Ohio State Hosts Marshall, Miami Faces Florida A&M
The 2010 college football season kicks off on Thursday night with a number of Top 25 schools seeing action including the #2 Ohio State Buckeyes and the #13 Miami Hurricanes.
Ohio State will be hosting Marshall in what should be a tune-up for next week’s showdown with the Miami Hurricanes. Those same Hurricanes will be taking on Florida A&M on Thursday night and are certainly readying themselves for the Buckeyes on Sept. 11.
South Carolina enters the season unranked but the Gamecocks will be looking to impress when they host Southern Miss on their home field, the same field on which they’ll be facing the #23 Georgia Bulldogs next week.
In one of the most intriguing matchups of the night the #15 Pittsburgh Panthers will hit the road to take on Utah, a tough road test early for a team that has BCS hopes.
The #14 USC Trojans are a program in flux and would like nothing more than to quiet the storm with a big win on Thursday as they travel to take on Hawaii.
