Manasota Trial Lawyers Board Holds Open Forum Discussion On Bad Faith Insurance Issues

Florida trial lawyers gathered together for the Manasota Trial Lawyers Board dinner and seminar featuring an open forum panel discussion on Bad Faith Insurance issues.
Guest speakers at the event included prominent attorneys, Fred Cunningham, Esq., from Palm Beach Gardens, Lee Gunn IV from Tampa, and Steve Wittmer, Esq., from Sarasota. Organized by Attorney Bernard F. Walsh of Shapiro Goldman Babboni & Walsh, the event focused on recent and controversial decisions by United States Federal Courts on several Bad Faith cases that took place Between 2009 and 2012. Attendees of the meeting also earned a CLE (Continuing Legal Educational) credit.
The event drew several sponsors and included lectures from the guest speakers followed by an open forum discussion. The nature of the court decisions and their possible effects on future Bad Faith cases was cause for vibrant discussions on defending the rights of citizens in a changing legal and political environment.
