Oprah Winfrey has officially set a date for the final episode of her iconic TV talk show. On Friday, Winfrey's production company Harpo confirmed that, after 25 years, Winfrey's final show will air on May 25th. After the show ends, Winfrey will be able to turn more of her attention to managing her own TV network "OWN". Winfrey has not yet revealed who her final guest(s) will be.
"The Oprah Winfrey Show" has been showing reruns for the last few weeks, but Winfrey says that new episodes will begin airing on April 7th.
The final episode will mark the end of what has been the highest-rated TV talk show for more than 20 years. Currently, the show airs in 145 countries.
