According to a report from TMZ.com, a group of gang members kidnapped, assaulted, and robbed a man who allegedly possessed a tape of O'Neal having sex with other women while he was still married to his former wife Shaunie.
The alleged incident took place back in February of 2008 and involved Main Street Mafia Crip Gang member Ladell Rowles, who is reportedly friends with Shaq.
According to the police report, Rowles and 6 other gang members kidnapped a man named Robert Ross, who reportedly owned a Shaq sex tape. In addition to demanding the sex tape, the 7 men also reportedly took Ross' Rolex watch, diamond chain, diamond earrings, and $15,000 in cash.
The 7 men were arrested and charged with kidnapping, robbery, and other crimes. They are currently in the middle of a preliminary hearing.
Ross and O'Neal reportedly used to be business partners until a falling out caused Ross to threaten Shaq with the release of the sex tape unless Shaq paid him.
Ross claims that Shaq used to bring women to his home and have sex with them while he was still married. Ross also claims that he and Shaunie had an affair while she and Shaq were separated.
