Giants Pitcher Barry Zito Hospitalized After Car Accident
Major League Pitcher in Car Accident
San Francisco Giants pitcher Barry Zito was taken to a hospital on Wednesday night after being involved in a car accident in West Hollywood.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Zito got into a 2-car accident on Sunset Boulevard. According to authorities, Zito was not fault.
After the accident, Zito was checked into Cedars-Sinai Hospital but has since been released.
The Giants are in L.A. for their series against the L.A. Dodgers.
