Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic, who is currently undefeated this year, has injured his knee and has withdrawn from the Monte Carlo Masters tournament.
Djokovic, 23, said in a statement that the withdrawal is a "tough blow" to him because the Monte Carlo is his "favorite tournament."
Currently ranked No. 2 in the world, Djokovic has a perfect 24-0 record for the season. His most notable wins include the Australian Open versus Andy Murray, Indian Wells versus Rafael Nadal, and most recently, the BNP Paribas Open, also against Nadal.
Djokovic did not say how long he expects to be out because of his injury.
