New York Knicks guard Chauncey Billups is still doubtful for the team's second playoff game against the Boston Celtics on Tuesday. In fact, Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni said on Monday that Billups is "very questionable."
Toney Douglas, who is in his third NBA season, is expected to play for Billups in the event that Billups is indeed sidelined for the game. And D'Antoni has faith in Douglas.
"It's a hole to fill, but I have a lot of confidence in Toney, and Anthony Carter will back him up, and we'll just see how it runs," said D'Antoni.
And Douglas is ready for the challenge.
"I'm ready," said Douglas on Monday. "The hardest part is getting my body ready for that situation."
