Floyd Mayweather Might Be Training for Pacquiao Fight
Undefeated Boxer Might Be Practicing for Big Fight
Undefeated boxing champ Floyd Mayweather Jr. might be training for a future match against Filipino boxing sensation Manny Pacquiao.
Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach said in a phone interview that he believes Mayweather will be fighting left-handed welterweight title-holder Victor Ortiz in September as a way to prepare himself for a fight against Pacquiao.
Both Pacquiao and Ortiz are left-handed, and both are quick, high-volume punchers. The few lefties that Mayweather has fought did give him some trouble, so Roach might be on to something.
