Denise Lones is a very successful real estate coach and had been very successful as a manager of a very large real estate brokerage. She is proof of the importance of listening to our intuition. Some call it intuition, some call it the inner voice. Others may call it God or the Universe. Whatever people call it, it is that little feeling or voice that speaks to us to tell us which way we should go.
Denise is someone that commands attention when she walks in the room. She comes from a Greek family so she is not shy and bashful. To her family is everything! Her success is because she has an innate ability to listen to that little inner voice. She actually coaches and trains others on how to pay attention to what they are being told by that voice.
When she is thinking of potentially taking on a client she always asks 2 questions. “What is your biggest challenge? And what is your biggest fear?” Nine times out of ten they will respond they don’t know. Then she will stop them and ask them to really think about the question. She will ask them to feel it in their gut, not in their head.  Almost 100% of the time they will start to cry because for once they are getting in touch with their emotions. If they can’t or don’t want to go there she won’t work with them.
Thankfully, Denise is very in tune with her inner voice because if she wasn’t she would not be alive today. Each time that inner voice speaks it is a crystalline moment.  When you listen you find the opportunity. For Denise, had she not listened to that voice, she would not have gone to the hospital. Had she not gone to the hospital she would have died. Her inner voice first whispered then screamed, “If you don’t go to the hospital tonight you are going to die!”  She talks about how this major crystalline moment saved her life and all the opportunities that she has been given ever since.
