WAITING FOR DRACULA Is A Joint Feature Film Production from Empire Films and Grunder-Oakley Productions

Dawna Lee Heising interviewed international star Domiziano Arcangeli, the writer, director and producer of the upcoming feature film WAITING FOR DRACULA, along with Steve Oakley, in Los Angeles, CA for MoreHorror in Hollywood.  John Cox and Jeremy Yorba filmed the interview, and Yorba edited the video.  Waiting For Dracula is a modern retelling of Bram Stokers Dracula tale, set in Southern California. Dracula is posting webisodes of women becoming vampires on line to make money, while a mansion full of vampires and Goths dine on unsuspecting victims at Halloween. It's a very sexy tale with a touch of comedy, and it stars Domiziano Arcangeli as Renfield.   The huge cast includes:  Melanie Grunder, Paul Vandervort, Elissa Dowling, Jordan Lawson, Matt Brewer, Kerr Seth Lordygen, Amanda Chism, Steven Fode, Brian Graham, D. Oakley and Arcangeli co-wrote and co-directed the film, and it is being produced by Arcangeli through Empire Films and Oakley through Grunder Oakley Productions.  Oakley and Melanie Grunder founded Grunder Oakley Productions to make interesting horror movies. Arcangeli and Oakley have done five films together:  ABSOLUTE HORROR, ADDICTED TO BLOOD, IS NUDITY REQUIRED and WAITING FOR DRACULA.   With over 100 film and television credits to his name, Domiziano Arcangeli is a well-recognized, internationally known star.  Arcangeli was discovered by famed photographer Helmut Newton.  He noticed him by chance in 1979, in Venice, Italy, where Arcangeli used to live. Newton eventually brought Arcangeli to Berlin, Germany, for a series of photo shoots, which gained controversy due to the age of the model. Nonetheless, some of those very artistic pictures made the covers of many publications worldwide.  Arcangeli has two sons - fraternal twins, Skyler and Thor-Lyndon, born on 11-11-11, in Atlanta, Georgia.
