Dino Maddalone joined Dawna Lee Heising on “Eye on Entertainment” on Time Warner Cable for the premiere segment of “Ask Dino” on February 18, 2010 at the Time Warner Cable studio in Costa Mesa, CA. Questions about the music business were gathered from people around the world and were answered live on the air by Maddalone. “Ask Dino” will be taped monthly in the studio and all questions about the record industry and music business can be sent to Dino4M@aol.com or to eyeonentertainment@rocketmail.com. Maddalone will also be joining Eye on Entertainment on Time Warner Cable as the music director on shows that feature live musical performances.
Dino Maddalone is a well-respected film, television and video games music producer. He owns a state-of-the-art recording and post production studio in Los Angeles, CA. Dino Maddalone wrote and produced a new rock version of the two times Grammy Award-nominated song "I Wish" by the multi-platinum artist Skee-Lo. Skee-Lo, Dino and Mama-Kym are featured on the song, which was released in October 2009. Skee-Lo’s new "Rock Version - I Wish 2010" was released in the Netherlands and went to Number #1. “Rock Version I Wish 2010” has been licensed to be in the new feature film "Daze", which will star Gary Busey and Richard Moll. Dino has many credits for television and film, and has been a music producer, engineer and mixer for over 22 years. In 2008, Dino was selected as “Record Producer of the Year” by The Los Angeles Music Awards committee, and the CD that he produced for Kris Searle was nominated for “Record of the Year”. He has also won “Best Album of the Year” and “Best Hard Rock Album of the Year” at the Dove Awards for the Gospel Music Association (GMA). Dino was also selected for the Rugged Records “Hall of Fame.
Talk show host Keith Harris also joins Eye on Entertainment on Time Warner Cable for a monthly segment called “Eyes All Over the World”, where he will report on the music and entertainment industries in Canada for EOE. Harris is the executive producer and host of his own show in Canada called “The Keith Harris Show”. Harris was born and raised in Washington, D.C. He has appeared in movies such as “Skulls” and “Down in the Delta”. Musically, Harris has collaborated with Canadian artists such as Daniel Gaon, DRK and Concise. He recently started his own independent music label called “Urban Senate. On “Eyes All Over the World”, Harris will be taking viewers to fine restaurants, visit the Toronto Fashion District and to entertainment events. He will also be interviewing artists, musicians and interesting people in Toronto.
John Cox directed the premiere segment of “Ask Dino”, and will be producing and directing all future shows featuring “Ask Dino” and “Eyes All Over the World”. The Eye on Entertainment on Time Warner Cable production team also includes Linda Maxwell of Time Warner Cable, Steve Van Wormer, Paul Heising and Eye on Entertainment photographer David J. McNeil. Original score for the EOE opening was created by Jmusiz Musiz.
