Dawna Lee Heising welcomes Canadian entertainment veterans Nikki Clarke and Keith Harris to EOE Worldwide, a division of Eye on Entertainment on Time Warner Cable. Clarke and Harris will be reporting on the music and entertainment scene in Canada, and will bring a worldwide perspective to Eye on Entertainment. Jmusiz Musiz from Virginia also joins the EOE Worldwide team as the composer of the continually evolving EOE intros.
Jamaican born Nikki Clarke started her public relations company, Nikki Clarke Inc., in September 2008. She has a Social Sciences degree from John Abbott College and earned a degree in Film and Communications at Sheridan College and an Honors degree in Early Childhood Education. Clarke is fluent in English, French and Spanish. Nikki has been an instructor at Sheridan College in the Faculty of Early Childhood Education and the School of Business since 1999. In 2006, Clarke started Bead 4 Health, a company for which she designs and handcrafts organic jewelry for men and women and distributes them online at www.bead4health.com. Nikki experiments with wood, semi-precious stones, magnets, and freshwater pearls. Clarke was introduced to magnetic therapy after purchasing a magnetic necklace for a neck injury she sustained in an accident. Her designs have been featured in Planet Africa, Rogers Television, the Ethnic Umbrella, Bless and Urbanology Magazine, Kurves Modeling and Talent 2009 Calendar and the 2009 Mr. International Caribbean Calendar. In 2007, Nikki joined the team of the Ethnic Umbrella, Canada’s most diverse community newspaper, as a columnist and public relations manager. She is also a freelance writer for Planet Africa Magazine, Elite Events Magazine and City Parent. In August 2008, Clarke received the African Canadian Women’s Achievement Award for her work in the community and excellence in teaching. Nikki is also the cousin of reggae icon, Lorna Bennett, of "Breakfast in Bed” fame and hit maker producer, Donavan Bennett aka Don Corleon. Keith Harris is the executive producer and host of his own show in Canada called “The Keith Harris Show”. Harris was born and raised in Washington, D.C. He has appeared in movies such as “Skulls” and “Down in the Delta”. Musically, Harris has collaborated with Canadian artists such as Daniel Gaon, DRK and Concise. He recently started his own independent music label called “Urban Senate. On “EOE Worldwide”, Harris will be taking viewers to fine restaurants, visit the Toronto Fashion District and to entertainment events. The opening and closing credits of "Eye on Entertainment" boast a blend of original hip-hop, R&B, and dance music, thanks to the super-talented music producer Jmusiz. He is a member of Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI). Formed in 1939 as a non-profit-making performing right organization, BMI was the first to offer representation to songwriters of all types of music.
