Dawna Lee Heising of Eye on Entertainment on Time Warner Cable had a photo shoot with celebrity make-up artist Chris Lanston and photographer Sean Ocean.  Over the last ten years, Chris Lanston has worked as a prominent makeup artist in New York City, Miami and Los Angeles.  Lanston’s creative works have been published in magazines such as Beauty, Style, In Touch Weekly, Premier Bride, as well as in music videos and fashion shows.

Lanston has collaborated with a wide array of talented photographers, celebrities and television shows, including The Tyra Banks Show, David Letterman, Lance Bass, VH1, MTV, Nole’ Marin, Antonique Smith, Jaimie Hilfiger, Alan Thicke, Christian Audiger, Kristin Davis and “To Be a Star” with famed fashion designer Nicole Miller and supermodel Coco Mitchell.  Lanston has contributed to various ad campaigns and retailers, including Dior, Lancome, Sephora, Michael Anthony, Wembe and Infinity Shoes.  He has also overseen makeup direction at a number of fashion shows. Such as Ed Hardy, Cache, Henry Nathaniel Jackson, KEKA’ and Kristen Davis. 

Lanston completed work on two significant projects in New York City, New York, in Fall 2010.  He did the makeup for Toni Busker, the star of “Pirates of the Caribbean 4”.  Shot on location in NYC, the theme of the shoot was “Spanish Touch” by photographer Yann Feron.  Chris currently resides in NYC, and has become one of the world’s most sought after celebrity makeup artists.  For more information, visit www.ChrisLanston.com.
